Your privacy is taken very seriously, so here I’ll highlight how personal information about you is collected, what information is collected, how it’s used and other relevant information.
How it’s collected
Any interaction we have, be it in person or online, provides me with some details about you. These include;
• An enquiry you make via my web site, by e-mail or telephone.
• At events, should we exchange contact details.
• Completion of an online survey.
• Cookies from my web site.
• If you contract me to complete any work.
What is collected
The information collected will include;
• Your contact name and job title.
• Business name, postal address, telephone number and e-mail address.
• Cookies provides me with web site usage data and IP addresses, but they do not provide any information that can identify you.
Should there be the need to share any proprietary information with me as part of a project I work on for you, this wouldn’t be kept beyond the project completion and I’m happy to sign non-disclosure agreements if requested to do so.
How it’s used
• The majority of the personal information collected will only be used in the communications I send while we’re working together. This will include submitting drafts and invoicing upon project completion.
• I may also contact you with direct marketing materials on occasion, but only with your prior consent. If you don’t want me to contact you in this way, please type UNSUBSCRIBE in the subject line of any mail and simply send back to me.
• Your information will never be shared with any third parties without your express permission – the only exception is if I’m required to do so by law.
Tracking
Cookies are basic text files stored on your computer by the web sites you visit. The data in the cookies allow the web site to remember you when you next visit. Cookies do not contain any information that enables you to be identified personally.
Google Analytics utilise cookies to analyse how people interact with web sites. I use Google Analytics so I can see how many people visit my web site and what they like to look at while visiting. This helps me identify where the site is working and the areas that perhaps need to be tweaked.
Cookies can be controlled via the Settings on your computer and you can remove any you no longer wish to be stored.
Security
My web site has a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) certificate installed, ensuring encrypted data is transmitted from the site using a secure connection. The privacy and integrity of data is therefore maintained.
To comply with GDPR requirements, I have physical and electronic security measures in place against the loss or destruction of personally identifiable data. These are reviewed regularly to ensure compliance.
Your rights
You are entitled to request a copy of all your personal details I have on file at any time and I will endeavour to provide them at the earliest opportunity.
Although I hope to build long-term relationships with all my clients, it is also within your rights to ask me to delete your personal information from my records at any time.

This privacy policy relates only to the Heathfield Consultants web site. Links to external web sites may feature on the Heathfield Consultants web site, but if used, you should review the privacy policies of those sites, as they may differ. I do not accept any responsibility for external sites.
